What do I have to do at the end of the free trial?
At the end of the free trial, if you want to continue using the services offered by appygas, contact our team at email@example.com to subscribe to my.appygas. If you do not wish to subscribe to appygas after the free trial, you do not need to do anything: your account will be deactivated without any charge.
How long is the free trial?
The standard free trial has a period of 14 days. From time to time and for special events appygas offers promotional codes to extend the free trial. The code can be activated under your „profile“.
How much does an appygas license cost?

Can I download the data?
The download of data for the flows map is possible in the module named dowload.
Can I access to some information of appygas without being registered?
As a non-registered user you can access the dashboard with the flows map (homepage) and see the widgets displayed on the bottom of the page. But we cannot click on a market area or navigate in the website.
Which market areas are covered?
The current version covers the Western European market areas PEG, PVB (Spain), UK, BeLux H and L, NCG H and L, Gaspool H and L, TTF, PSV and AVTP.
How reliable are the displayed data on appygas?
Our core team benefits from a long-term TSO expertise with a very good understanding of gas market data. We are striving to gather the best level of information available on the internet. Physical data are displayed and rendered just as they are published on the operator website or other sources likes ENTSOG. Aggregated values by appygas are very transparent indicating constantly the last update and the source to help the user retrace the calculation.
Are the data up to date? What is the update frequency?
The flow maps data are updated every hour. The appygas data crawling process uses multiple sources to ensure a constant data availability. The most reliable source is shown first but in case of unavailability, a second one or even a third one is automatically used.
Are the flows map data hourly or daily data?
In order to harmonize all data and to facilitate the comparison between all market areas we decided to display only daily data for commercial and physical flows.
Where do the transport tariffs in the route calculator results come from?
The transport fee calculated is based on the published price list by the TSO and adapted in harmonized unites. Sometimes the implementation of the new tariffs can take a little longer.
What kind of flows are displayed on the map?
The displayed hub prices on the homepage widget and in the market area view are PEGAS EoD Spot Prices for AVTP, Gaspool H, NCG H, Peg Nord, TRS, TTF and ZTP H. In the route calculator, the future prices also come from PEGAS.
How is the transport fee calculated in the market area view (comparison spread vs fee)?
The "Fee Entry" is the bundled transport fee meaning the sum of the transport fee to enter the displayed market area and exit the adjacent one. The "Fee Exit" is the bundled transport fee meaning the sum of the transport fee to exit the displayed market area and enter the adjacent one. Extra terms such as accounting fee, measuring fee, quality conversion charge, commodity charge and multiplier are included.
How is the transport fee calculated in the route calculator?
The price in the results list includes extra terms such as accounting fee, measuring fee, quality conversion charge, commodity charge and multiplier.
How is the usage rate displayed on the map calculated?
The usage rate on the VIP level is the ratio resulting from the aggregated commercial flow divided by the aggregated technical capacity.
The usage rate on the Virtual Storage level is the ratio resulting from the aggregated incoming /outgoing flow divided by the aggregated injection/withdrawal rate (the minimal value between TSO/storage side).
The usage rate on the LNG level is the ratio resulting from the aggregated incoming flow divided by the send out capacity (the minimal value between TSO/LNG side).
Where can I find information about maintenance?
The planned maintenance on pipelines is displayed in the module availability. On the map view you can select a maintenance period from maximal one month starting from the last month to get an overview of all planned works during this period. By clicking on one maintenance symbol at the VIP level on the map, you access directly to the timeline view with maintenance details at this VIP. You can also add market areas in the filter above the timeline. In the results window you can click on the market area to display the maintenance at the VIP level. A further click on the VIP shows the physical points concerned. One last click on the maintenance itself (red for firm capacity, blue for interruptible) gives you the expected restriction and the remaining capacity at the physical level as published by the TSO or ENTSOG transparency platform.

I used to have a Premium plan with appygas. What happens to my access now that there is a new model?
We are happy to welcome our Premium users to the new model. From October 16th, 2020, the Terms of Service have changed. This means that you need to update your plan information in order to continue using our platform.
